Forest Explorers Practical Heathland Conservation

Saturday 15th December, 2018
14:00-16:00

Enjoy a festive treat amongst the open heathland habitat at Crabtree Hill.

See if you can spot the elusive Exmoor ponies and help us to manage the habitat by cutting some of the invasive scrub.

There will be hot chocolate and festive refreshments.

Please wear old outdoor clothing that you don't mind getting grubby, gardening gloves (if you have them), and boots or wellies.

There will be tools provided and some spare gloves too.

Cost £1 per child. Booking is essential so please email forestexplorersfod@gmail.com or call 07850 713804.

Forest Explorers is a children's group which meets once a month to explore and discover the rich heritage of the Forest of Dean. We encourage families with children aged from 4 - 13 to come along and learn more about the wildlife, history and cultural diversity of the area.
