The Foresters’ Forest Landscape Partnership programme is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The partnership is made up of 32 organisations, with Forestry England the lead partner.

Foresters’ Forest is committed to keeping any personal information you give us safe. We use the information we collect about you to send you communications about the programme that may be of interest to you, either electronically or otherwise.

The following policy explains how your personal information will be treated. This policy may change from time to time.

When we refer to "personal information" in this privacy policy, we mean information, which identifies you as an individual, or is capable of doing so.

How do we collect information?

We will collect personal information from you when you make an enquiry with us, register as a volunteer or subscribe to our newsletter.

What information do we collect about you and when do we collect it?

The types of information collected might include your name, email address, contact telephone numbers, postal address and your interest in the programme. We may also collect equality and disability data but this will be anonymous and is only collected for monitoring purposes.

How do we use this information?

We will use your personal information to provide you with the information you have requested. For instance if you have registered as a volunteer, we will send you a regular volunteer update newsletter and information about volunteering activities you may be interested in.

Foresters’ Forest will not rent, sell or lease this personally identifiable information to other companies or individuals. You have a right to access, rectify, modify and delete any data referring to you. In order to exercise this right please contact us immediately.

Sharing information with other people

Your information may be shared with project leaders for the purposes of registering you onto activities with them.

Your information may be provided to other companies who provide administration services on our behalf, for example a mailing house or email marketing provider, but solely for the purpose of providing you with the information you have requested and not for purposes by anyone other than Foresters’ Forest.

Changes to your information

If your personal details change, please help us to keep your information up to date by notifying us by email: info@forestersforest.uk 

We may change our privacy policy from time to time. New policies will be published on our website.

We are committed to dealing with personal data in the spirit of the Data Protection Act 1998 ("the Act") and protecting personal privacy in accordance with the law.
