Volunteers at Worcester Walk have been gradually clearing an old defunct fence to allow a new boar proof fence to be put in. The Dean Green Team will be working at Worcester Walk on 12th of March and extra volunteers are very much needed to assist with the remaining fence clearance. If there are enough people that day, we should be able to complete the job, so if you are interested in a bit of outdoors practical activity then please do join the team.
The job will be to
Remove the remaining fence down the side of the Events Field
Remove the fencing around Area C
Possibly reduce the Leylandii hedge TBC
Clear the undergrowth around the fence line in all 3 fields
Gentle clearance of the designated orchard site in Area D
Possible hedge trimming TBC
Possible digging of ponds TBC
Please bring your own, labelled, bright coloured hand tools, gloves, goggles, thick trousers, generally old clothes and sturdy footwear.
