Become a LOVE YOUR FOREST Volunteer

Love Your Forest has been trialling innovative approaches to tackling litter in the Forest of Dean. A key part of the campaign is The Trashconverter, a very special horsebox that tours community events, picnic locations and tourist hotspots throughout the year and offers people the chance to swap their trash for treats. We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help out at events and talk to people about the campaign. You’ll have the opportunity to attend fun local events, gain valuable work experience, and get to know others in the community. Most importantly, you’ll be helping to keep the Forest of Dean clean and beautiful.  We’re looking for people who:

  • Love the Forest of Dean
  • Have an interest in sustainability or litter
  • Approach tasks with enthusiasm and energy
  • Are friendly and approachable
  • Are confident in talking to people of all ages

We’re looking for volunteers from April to September 2019. If you have a few hours to spare and a passion for litter, email glennredwood@gmail.com and tell us why you’d like to volunteer.
