Batscape Hedgerow surveys

Batscape Hedgerow surveys

This activity will involve surveying hedgerows in pairs or small groups in the Core Sustenance Zone around Littledean Hall horseshoe bat roost.

The purpose of this is to identify gaps in hedgerows which may prevent horseshoe bats from traveling along their preferred hedgerow flyways to reach feeding grounds.

We are awaiting landowner permissions for this. This activity is currently planned for January 2021.

If you are interested, please email rosie.kelsall@gloucestershirewildlifetrust.co.uk and we can begin to arrange dates and times.  All sessions and arrangements will be subject to change if national or local COVID-19 restrictions are altered.
