Foresters' Forest Celebration Day

Foresters' Forest Celebration Day

Sunday 19th September, 2021
11:00-15:00

As part of this year's Forest of Dean 'Heritage Open days' we are holding our Foresters' Forest 'Celebration Day' at the Dean Heritage Centre, Sun 19th September!

With FREE entry on the day, please come along and enjoy our outdoor stands, indoor and outside activity displays. We'll have a gallery display to show you, podcasts to share and mini craft workshops to join in with.

Plenty of fun for all the family, and all ages!

Our celebration day is all about sharing with you the key achievements of our 38 projects that make up our programme, how we have made the most of £2.5 million National Lottery Heritage funding from 2017-2022.  Our many and varied projects in the Forest of Dean have helped sustain, protect, celebrate and reveal our built, buried, cultural and natural heritage. Come and meet us and our project teams to find out what we have been busy doing – and to hear about the heritage work that continues!

This is ‘Our Forest Story’.
