Foresters’ Forest Exhibition - Dean Heritage Centre

Friday 17th September, 2021 ~ Friday 31st December, 2021
10:00-16:00

Come and see our exhibition in Gallery 4 at the Dean Heritage Centre!

We have taken over the gallery to share with you the key achievements of the 38 projects that make up the Foresters’ Forest programme, explaining how we have been making the most of our £2.5 million National Lottery Heritage funding from 2017-2022.

Our exhibition takes you on a journey through our programme, explaining who has been involved – from project partners to volunteers - displaying in a colourful story of photos and words all that our project teams have been doing.  We also outline what will happen next, and how our heritage work continues.

Before you leave the gallery, you can also pick up your free ‘Forest of Dean Map & Guide’ and head out to explore the Forest’s rich heritage.

The many and varied Foresters’ Forest projects in the Forest of Dean have helped sustain, protect, celebrate and reveal our built, buried, cultural and natural heritage. This is ‘Our Forest Story’.
