Talk: Horseshoe Bats in the Forest of Dean

Friday 21st June, 2019
19:00-21:00

Come along to an evening talk by local bat expert, David Priddis, and find out all about bats in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley.

This area is a stronghold for Greater and Lesser Horseshoe bats, with the largest concentration of Lesser Horseshoe bats in Europe being found here! Find out all about these fascinating creatures – what makes them so special, why this area is so important, and how we can help support them across the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. The talk will also cover the work that the Batscapes Project is doing and opportunities to get involved.

Location: Bream Church Hall, Coleford Road, Bream, Glos. GL15 6ES.

No need to book, please contact forestersforest@fvaf.org.uk for more information.
