Come along to explore the fascinating geology of the Forest and how it shapes our landscape as well as our culture.

Who were the 'hod boys' and what did they do?


We will meet at the car park of Soudley Village Hall. We'll be following the Blue Rock Trail and it may still be muddy. Please bring appropriate and clothing and footwear, and water.


This guided event is for children aged 4-8 years old, accompanied by a parent or guardian.
