Heritage Open Days in the Forest of Dean

Friday 11th September, 2020 ~ Sunday 20th September, 2020

 

Forest of Dean Heritage Open Days, organised and funded by the Coleford Area MCTI Partnership, with funding from Foresters’ Forest, have organised up to 28 exciting FREE events taking place during the week. 

 

The events include  places for you to visit as well as organised walks and tours of sites. There are also some videos to watch at home as well as two Hidden Heritage Apps to download to your mobile.

 

Included in the places you can visit and online activities you can take part in are some events organised by Foresters’ Forest project teams:

• Bream Heritage Walk – follow a self-guided walk
• Coleford’s Hidden Heritage – download a free App and explore 
• Forest Reptiles – watch a short film in your own time
• Hidden Heritage of the Dean – download a free App and explore 
• St Stevens Church, Cinderford -  hear a special tribute to Leonard Clark’s writing
• Yorkley Onward Hall – find out more about brass banding in the Forest
