Wye Valley River Festival

Monday 21st September, 2020 ~ Sunday 27th September, 2020

Wye Valley River Festival 2020 has been ‘re-imagined’.
This year the festival’s online programme will be flowing from the Valley right into your home!
Get ready for playful and powerful performances that can be enjoyed by all the family.
An eclectic mix of shows and films, talks and workshops, live music and activities to get involved with.

Included in the line-up is our live online talk Connecting People To Nature on Tuesday 21st September at 1pm

  • You will be treated to film premiere ‘People and Nature in the Forest of Dean’ commissioned by Foresters’ Forest. This shares how people in the Forest of Dean have made a real difference to their local wildlife and wellbeing.
  • Our short film is followed by lively conversation between local experts, three of our project leaders David Dewsbury, Rosie Kelsall and Kate Wollen facilitated by Chris McFarling, on the topic of: Why is it important to connect people to nature and how can we achieve greater connection in the future?
  • Pose your questions to our panel of experts through the event's chat facility.

We leave you with this festival thought: ‘Run with wolves. Relax with the magic of cloud appreciation. Explore your inner poet.’
