The Royal Forest of Dean Orchestra performs 'Battle of Imjin River Anniversary Concert'. 

The orchestra, supported by our Forest Musical Landscape project, were able to commission a special work by Gloucestershire composer Liz Lane for this event.

The Battle of Imjin was bravely fought by local regiment The Glosters in Korea in 1951. For more about the history of the battle see The Forester, article dated 21 April 2021

Marie Roberts-Watkins, their superb violin soloist, is also performing The Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughan Williams.

Tickets: £10 each  purchase here  Note: there will be no tickets available on the door.
