Forest Explorers Winter Wildlife

Saturday 12th January, 2019
14:00-16:00

Come and get a breath of winter fresh air with a fun session outside!

Channel your inner Bear Grylls hunting for signs of animal activity. Take your own cast of an animal print home with you.

We will also be looking at and trying to ID trees in winter—who will get the most?!

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for being outside for the whole session.

We will meet in the Boys Grave car park (map can be sent on booking if required).

£1.00 per child, per session. Booking is essential. To book places, please email forestexplorersfod@gmail.com or call 07850713804.

Forest Explorers is a children's group which meets once a month to explore and discover the rich heritage of the Forest of Dean. We encourage families with children aged from 4-13 to come along and learn more about the wildlife, history and cultural diversity of the area.

Forest Explorers is a joint initiative between Foresters' Forest, Forestry Commission England, Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and the RSPB. Find out more about Forest Explorers.
