Come along to the Oral History Weekend taking place on Saturday 12th October and Sunday 13th October at the Dean Heritage Centre, Soudley GL14 2UB.

You can listen to oral history recordings past and present from the extensive and recently digitised collection that tells the story of the Forest through people's own words.

  • 2pm Baroness Jan Royall talks about the Dean Heritage Centre Collection, the importance of oral history and introduces a special family performance of Harry Beddington's play 'Footing the Bill', continuing its amazing run after the Mitcheldean Festival. Cost: £3.00
